Trek Description


Over the course of an exciting 12 days, travel with your guide all the way from Lukla Airport to the Everest Base Camp - at 5,450 meters above sea level, and back again. Take in an array of unforgettable highlights during this nearly two week trek, taking part in an experience that will supply you with memories to last a lifetime. During your trip, walk an average of 5 to 6 hours each day. With this in mind, it is important that participants are in good physical condition. While this trek does not involve technical aspects, any previous mountain trekking experience is definitely a plus. Day1: Arrival in Kathmandu (1400meters/ feet) Arrive at Kathmandu International Airport where you’ll be warmly welcomed by our representative from The Alpine Club of Himalayas. Once you check in at your hotel. The rest of the day is free to explore. Maximum Altitude: 1400m Meals: Welcome Dinner Accommodation: Hotel Day 2: Fly to Lukla (2860meters/ feet) trek to Phakding (2610meters/ feet) 2-3 hours trek; 200m descent, 50m ascent Take an early morning flight from Kathmandu to Lukla. Once you reach Lukla head to upper Phakding. Descending above farmlands passing through Sherpa villages of Chheplung, Ghat, Sano, and Thulo Gumela. Where you’ll witness the number of shrines and monasteries at Drangdrak Gompa and Pema Choling Gompa. On the backdrop, breathtaking views of sacred mountain Kumbila and sister summits Kusum Kanguru peaks. One of the unclimbed peaks of the region.
