Pane Muesa aka Pane Milza, meaning bread & spleen, also known as Vastedda
by Italian-American New Yorkers is a wonderful Sicilian Specialty of Palermo, a
sandwich made with beef spleen that is fried in lard and put on a Sesame See Bun with Ricotta and Caciocavallo Cheese
This Foccaceria is the most famous in all of Sicily. If you are ever in Palermo, this place is a must do.
